Sebastian Phillips
Actor
Sebastian Phillips throughout his whole life has strived to be an actor and performer. As a child in Mexico City, he gained experience and practice putting on shows and films with his grandmother Ofelia Medina. As he grew up he starters performing in school plays, commercials and a small role. the film “De día y de noche”. When he moved to the United States to attend high school and college, he honed in on his craft learning how to sing, dance, improvise and learn stage combat. He has been notable characters during his academic years including Bobby in Company, Heck Tate in to kill a mockingbird, Jeremy in Be More Chill amongst many others. He graduated with a BA in performing arts from Loyola University New Orleans. He then began training with the SAFD (society of American fight Directors) and currently has 5 certifications in armed weapons. He has since then worked for Loyola university as an actor for several short films, as well as stunt coordination and fight choreographer for recent films and plays put up by the institution. His most recent performance was as an ensemble/ understudy for Simon Fernando in The Lost Colony. Alongside his passion for theatre he has began to delve more into film work to expand his knowledge when being an all-round actor in any medium.
Disciplines
Acting
Been training and has had a passion for it since birth. He has worked in all scopes and variety from Musicals, dramas, puppetry, feature films, short films, comedies and independent workshops. Bachelors in performing arts from Loyola University New Orleans .
Singing
Classically opera trained since 15, A Baritone and versatile with many genres such as (Rock, pop, rap, etc) has been a part of a band and performed in many musicals as and ensemble and as a principal.
Dance
Experience with ensemble work from musicals and trained with modern abstract dance that involves lifts, push and pull and shapes in space.
Stage Combat
Certified with 5 weapons under the Society of American Fight directors, has performed and choreographed many live shows and done stunt work for short films.
